Happy New Year! I guess Happy Late New Year lol! My blogging has kind of taken a back seat with all the other projects I’ve been working on, but I have been thinking about what I’d like to write for the New Year.
I don’t know about you, but 2018 was a great year for me. I went on an adventure to Las Vegas and then Hawaii. Read some awesome books and learned quite a bit about myself. And I learned so many valuable lessons from those experiences.
Are there things I wish I would’ve done differently? Absolutely! But for the most part, 2018 was awesome and I’m ready to charge into 2019.
This year I’m going to grow a garden. I’ve already got a couple of plants I’m working on, but there are a bunch of veggies I’d like to try my hand at!
I started an experiment a few weeks ago with this plant to see if I could grow roots from a couple of stems. I set a couple of leaves in a jar of water and finally they’re starting to grow! I’ll show a couple of pictures in the future 🙂
Also, succulents are amazing! I have a plant that I forgot about for a couple of months, and it’s already got two little babies poking their heads up! They don’t need all that much, just some good soil and the occasional watering.
I missed tulip season, but next year I’m determined to get some bulbs started! And maybe some daffodils to boot!
Ever wonder what your life will be like ten years from now? Twenty? Ive just been doing some thinking about the life I’m leading and there are some things I’d like to do differently. Like build better eating and exercising habits. And spend more time on productive things.
It’s much easier to live the good life if you start those little daily habits now. And just think how different your life would be if you just improved one thing over time.
I hope you’ve got some fun things planned for your new year! And I hope you’ve got some good goals and objectives for where you’d like to go. If you need any tips or tricks here are some sites that have some great pointers about making and keeping goals.
